IntoUniversity Norwich opened in April 2021 (in our West Earlham Community Centre) in partnership with the University of East Anglia. IntoUniversity centres offer a welcoming home-from-home for young people: a safe space to learn, explore and succeed.
Each local centre offers an innovative programme that supports young people aged seven and up to realise their ambitions, achieve their academic potential, develop vital skills and gain experience of the world of work.

Are you looking for a space that can be used for different types of events? Our main hall is the perfect place for your event. It is 16 metres (52 feet) long and 7.4 metres (24 feet) wide. Our hall is perfect for meetings, conferences, presentations or parties.
On-line paymentsWe prefer payment online or by card; however, cash payments are also accepted. Drinks purchased at the bar are payable in cash only.
Saturday hire
Our main hall is available for hire on Saturdays between 11am and 11pm. Please check our calendar below to find the best date and time to suit your needs!
We always open and close building. All set-up, decoration and cleaning must be included within the booked hire time. For bar hire events, a one-off cleaning service fee is required.
£22 per hour
Only £22/hour for a hire of our main hall. Hire includes access to the kitchen, toilets, chairs, tables and also to BT sound system, projector and disco lights. We do not require a deposit. Unfortunately, we don't offer discounts. A cancellation charge applies. *
Insurance
The West Earlham Community Centre (WECC) holds its own Public Liability Insurance to cover the general use of the premises and we don't require private hirers to obtain their own separate Public Liability Insurance.

* Cancellations (after payment and more than 48 hours before the event) are subject to a cancellation charge of 15% of the total hire cost. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking will be charged at 50% of the total hire cost. Cancellation charges reflect losses incurred by the venue due to the cancellation of an exclusive booking.

We only allow small bouncy castles, up to 2 metres high
We offer the use of a bar at a rate of £10 per hour. A cleaning service fee of £30 is required for all parties involving alcohol in our building.
All parties with alcohol must hire our licensed bar, which is run by a local group. The bar can open later, but it must stay open until the end of the event.
Drinks are not included in the open bar fee and must be paid separately in cash at the bar during the event.
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, commercial hot water boiler, cooker with oven and microwave. The kitchen is included in the hire of the main hall.
Cutlery, plates and pots must be brought by all hirers.
Only small castles, up to 2 metres high.

Alcohol can only be purchased from the bar on the premises. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the West Earlham Community Centre.
Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside the building.
Please do not touch or decorate the ceiling.
We allocate time slots, with a minimum break of one hour between bookings. You can select a time slot on the calendar when the main hall is available. We don't allow extra time for setting up or clearing away after the party; everything must be included in the hire period.
We are not responsible for any items left in the building by clients after a booked party.
We have hold a TheMusicLicence PPL PRS only. We don't have a TV licence.
CCTV security system (24/7).

Even if we are very busy at the Community Centre, please contact us if you would like to join. After a quick chat we can try to find extra time for your group. We have special rates for regular bookings.
