IntoUniversity Norwich opened in April 2021 (in our West Earlham Community Centre) in partnership with the University of East Anglia. IntoUniversity centres offer a welcoming home-from-home for young people: a safe space to learn, explore and succeed.
Each local centre offers an innovative programme that supports young people aged seven and up to realise their ambitions, achieve their academic potential, develop vital skills and gain experience of the world of work.

Looking for a versatile space for your next event? Look no further than our main hall rental! Perfect for meetings, conferences, presentations, or even parties, our spacious hall provides everything you need to make your event a success.
We are a cashless venueWe only accept online or card payments. We do not accept cash payments for the hire of the main hall and bar, except for drinks purchased at the bar. Payment must be made before the event starts.
Saturday hire only
Our main hall is available for hire on Saturdays between 11am and 11pm. Please check our calendar below to find the best date and time to suit your needs!
£20 per hour
Only £20/hour for a hire of our main hall. Hire includes access to the kitchen and toilets. We do not require a deposit.
Insurance
The West Earlham Community Centre (WECC) holds its own Public Liability Insurance to cover the general use of the premises and we don't require private hirers to obtain their own separate Public Liability Insurance.

We only allow small bouncy castles, up to 2 metres high
Unfortunately, we do not allow you to bring your own alcohol.
All parties with alcohol must hire our licensed bar, which is run by a local group. The bar costs £10 per hour to open. A one-off cleaning fee of £30 is also required for parties involving alcohol, and you can leave the building once your party has finished.
Drinks are not included in the open bar fee and must be paid separately in cash at the bar during the event.
Alcohol can only be purchased from the bar on the premises. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the West Earlham Community Centre.
Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside the building.
Please do not touch or decorate the ceiling.
Terms and conditions apply to hirers and will be sent with an invoice.
We will book slots with a minimum 1 hour break between bookings. You can choose a term (time) on a calendar when the main hall is available (timetable). We don't allow extra minutes for preparation or clearing up after the party and all must be included in the hire period.
We are not responsible for any items left in the building by clients after a booked party.
We have hold a TheMusicLicence PPL PRS only. We don't have a TV licence.
CCTV security system (24/7).
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, commercial hot water boiler, cooker with oven and microwave. The kitchen is included in the hire of the main hall.
Cutlery, plates and pots must be brought by all hirers.
Only small castles, up to 2 metres high.
